Darumauchiwa "Fushiki"

¥4,000

Illustration series:
Bodhidharma is said to be the model of “Bodhisattva Bodhisattva Daruma (also called Bodhisattva Soshi, Daruma Daishi),” which is said to be the founder of the Zen sect.
Legend has it that Bodhidharma, with his indomitable spirit, sat facing a wall in meditation for nine years, and by the time he attained enlightenment, his hands and feet had rotted away. Our image of him stems from this indomitable spirit and powerful ability to overcome adversity.
Bodhidharma also wore a red robe, a color considered to ward against evil in Japan, which has made the Daruma popular as a talisman for warding off evil.
""Fushiki""...Things beyond the scope of knowledge, things of an invisible nature not understandable (knowable) on a conscious level.
